GREAT NEWS! Keswick Tennis Club and Braithwaite Bowls and Tennis Club are now ONE CLUB!
So thats a total of 6 tennis only courts: 3 Grass Courts in Fitz Park and 3 Hard Courts at Braithwaite.

Grass Courts Keswick
Keswick Lawn Tennis Club has three well-maintained grass courts in beautiful upper Fitz Park next to the River Greta in Keswick.

All Weather Courts – Braithwaite
There are three beautiful, newly renovated courts behind Braithwaite Institute. These are accessed via a coded lock. Visitors are welcome at £5 per person, payable at The Middle Ruddings Hotel which is located just over the road (A66).

When the weather is really good, club nights and match nights may move on to the grass courts.

Adult Social Tennis – Clubnights
Summer:  Adults of all abilities can play social tennis on Clubnights on Monday and Fridays on the grass when conditions are good. If there has been rain, club nights will be held at Braithwaite. The grass courts are available to members at any other time, you just need to ring other members and arrange a match.  Visitors fees £5.00 – there is an honesty box in the clubhouse.

Adult Competition Tennis
The team plays in the West Cumbria League and has teams in the Ladies Doubles, Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles sections.
In 2015,  Keswick 1 Men and Keswick Ladies played in Division 1 and each finished a credible 4th place.  Keswick 2 Men and Keswick 3 Men played in Division 2.  Keswick 3 finished top of the leaderboard and will be promoted for 2016.

The Mixed Doubles Team, played in Div 2 – they too finished top of the leaderboard and will be promoted in 2016.
We are always looking for new team players, so don’t hesitate to get involved.

Junior Section
The club encourages junior members and has a programme of coaching which takes place at Keswick School. In 2015 the U16 team were league champions – a new team will take on the challenge in 2016.
